Chanju Park

Representative Staff / Ministry Lead

Representative Staff Chanju Park first stepped into the United States as an international student and personally experienced the loneliness and wandering of life in a foreign land. In that process, he encountered God’s aching gaze and calling toward the scattered generation of young diaspora students, and that became the beginning of his ministry.

Now, as a minister carrying the untamed spirit of the gospel beyond the campus and into the world, he continues to think deeply about and build missional platforms such as the “Bridging Partners” program, which organically connects university infrastructure, local small businesses, and local churches. He believes that not by human wisdom or effort, but only through the love and wisdom God supplies, God will lead him to the people and places that need unity, and will firmly complete a sustainable missional ecosystem through which the whole world can share in blessing, centered around the university campus.

박찬주 대표 간사는 미국에 유학생으로 처음 발을 내딛으며 타지 생활의 외로움과 방황을 직접 경험하였고, 그 과정에서 이 땅에 흩어진 세대, 즉 ‘디아스포라’ 청년들을 향한 하나님의 애끓는 시선과 부르심을 마주하며 사역을 시작하게 되었습니다.

이제는 복음의 야성을 들고 캠퍼스를 넘어 세상 속으로 하나님의 선한 가치를 확장해 가는 사역자로서, ‘브릿징 파트너스’ 프로그램과 같이 대학 학내 인프라와 지역 소상공인, 로컬 교회를 유기적으로 연결하는 선교적 플랫폼을 다각도로 고민하고 구축해 가고 있습니다. 인간의 지혜나 열심이 아닌, 오직 하나님이 공급하시는 사랑과 지혜로 연합이 필요한 곳과 사람들을 만나게 하시고, 대학 캠퍼스를 중심으로 온 세상이 함께 복을 누리는 지속 가능한 선교 생태계를 든든히 완성해 갈 것을 믿습니다.

Minji Kwon

Representative Staff / Ministry Lead

Representative Staff Minji Kwon was originally serving as an Academic Advisor at GMU when she came face to face with the painful reality that there was no community on campus truly worshiping God. With God’s aching heart, she stepped out in faith and pioneered the first campus worship community in GMU’s history under the name “Campers@Mason.”

She lovingly disciples young diaspora students who wander amid academic pressure and anxiety about the future, helping them grow beyond simply belonging to a gathering and become disciples firmly rooted in the Word. In every step of the ministry, she trusts that God will help the community clearly discern the vision He has given, connect them with the right co-laborers in His timing, and bear beautiful fruit as they raise the next generation of leaders whose faith and lives are united.

권민지 대표 간사는 원래 GMU의 아카데믹 어드바이저(Academic Advisor)로 섬기던 중, 학교 내에 진정으로 하나님을 예배하는 공동체가 없다는 안타까운 사실을 직면하게 되었습니다. 이에 하나님의 애끓는 마음을 품고, GMU 캠퍼스 역사상 처음으로 ‘Campers@Mason’라는 이름의 캠퍼스 예배공동체를 믿음으로 개척하여 세우셨습니다.

학업과 미래의 불안 속에 방황하는 청년 디아스포라들이 단순한 모임의 일원을 넘어 말씀 위에 견고히 서는 제자로 성장하도록 사랑으로 양육하고 있습니다. 사역의 걸음마다 하나님께서 공동체에 허락하신 비전을 명확히 분별하게 하시고, 신앙과 삶이 일치되는 다음 세대 리더들을 세워가는 일에 하나님의 때에 합당한 동역자들을 만나며 아름다운 열매를 맺어갈 줄로 믿습니다.
